International Money Transfer

International Money Transfer

International Money transfer can be done by the following ways:

Transfer through a Bank:

One of the readily available option. Be wary of the transfer fees, commission the bank takes and the lesser exchange rate your bank may levy. Most banks these days have special services for expatriates. You can also transfer money through wire transfers. This is done through your general bank account in which Third party fund transfer is activated. You transfer the money to the desired receiver’s credit/debit card account.

Currency transfer Companies:

These are your best bet in my opinion. Not only they give best exchange rates, but also levy minimum or no commission or fees. Transfer companies, like Western Union Money transfer, have tie ups with banks all around the world and provide best service. They also give advice on when it is best to do money transfers, based on their expert knowledge on foreign markets. Western Union is in the business for more than 150 years. They are a global leader in money transfer services, offering the ability to send money to more than 320,000 Western Union Agent locations in over 200 countries and territories. You can always count on Western Union to transfer money.

Other Brokers:

Make sure these are approved by FSA (Financial Services Authority.) These brokers follow the strict financial regulations including maintaining separate client accounts that protect your money. You only deal with FSA authorized brokers.
